Hear Jon Hopkins cover Yeasayer’s ‘I Remember’ for Late Night Tales
New compilation is due out 1st March.
This March, Jon Hopkins is releasing his own take on Late Night Tales, a curated compilation bringing together choice cuts and original material.
The producer’s exclusive contribution to his release is a cover of ‘I Remember’, originally from Yeasayer on their ‘Odd Blood’ LP. Purely instrumental, Hopkins patches together near-detuned piano hooks into a gorgeous, soaring piece.
Elsewhere on Late Night Tales, Hopkins collaborates with Rick Holland on a spoken word track. There’ll also be music from Four Tet and School of Seven Bells.
