Africa Express have shared the fourth single from their upcoming album ‘EGOLI’, which this time sees South African self-proclaimed ‘future ghetto punk’ Moonchild Sanelly team up with duo Radio 123.

You can listen to the Blue May-produced track ‘Where Will This Lead Us To?’ below, a dark and shimmering cut of laid back R&B. It follows Georgia-led banger ‘City In Lights’, as well as ‘Johannesburg’ and the Damon Albarn-featuring ‘Become The Tiger’.

Says Blue May: “I started making this track from an iPhone recording of me playing Otim’s kora… I’d just started to get the beat together when my door opened and Moonchild walks in.

“We’d never met before and ten minutes later she’d written and recorded all of her parts. Two days later we were getting tattoos representing each other on our arms.”

Moonchild added: “Working with Blue was LIT, we vibed from the word go and this track is very personal to me. It wasn’t all work, we all squeezed in some clubbing too! And on the last night, we got tattoos to symbolise the moon and the ocean make waves.”

‘EGOLI’ is out on 12th July, and also features the likes of Gruff Rhys and Ghetts, as well as some of South Africa’s biggest and most exciting musicians.
