Hindsights unveil new track ‘Pensive’ alongside details of their record release show
Berkshire alt-rock hopefuls will accompany debut album ‘Cold Walls / Cloudy Eyes’ with a launch show at London’s The Garage.
After twelve months of constant touring in support of last year’s ‘The Thoughts That Weigh Me Down’, Maidenhead’s Hindsights are looking to 2015 with renewed vigour. Their debut album has already been announced as due for release on February 23rd, and today they’ve followed up recently released new single ‘Cold Walls’ with another glimpse at the full-length in ‘Pensive’.
A slower build than ‘Cold Walls’ sees ‘Pensive’ a perfectly named slice of meandering introspection, building upon frontman Benio Baumgart’s recently frank reflections on his own struggles with depression and anxiety. Stream it below.
The group will also take to London’s The Garage on February 17th to celebrate the record’s release, with support coming from Bad News. Before that though, there’s the little case of a UK run in support of long-time mates and grunge revivalists Milk Teeth, which runs throughout January. Full dates are below.
