Honey Moon deliver nostalgic jangle-pop on ‘Mover In The Dark’

It’s taken from the band’s upcoming EP ‘Four More From…’

Honey Moon make vintage-sounding, escapist jangle-pop that transports you back in time several decades. Now ahead of the release of their new EP ‘Four More From…’ on 21st September, the London four-piece have shared new track ‘Mover In The Dark’, which we’re delighted to be premiering on DIY today.

All hazy harmonies and laid-back, lilting instrumentals, the new track on first listen sounds positively upbeat, but listen again and an almost eerie tone emerges. “Its vulnerability isn’t laid quite as bare and its message not quite as obvious as in some of our other stuff. Kinda creepy, kind of ‘dark’ - for us cheesy boys, anyway…” explains the band’s Jack Slater Chandler.

To celebrate the launch of their new EP, Honey Moon will be playing a show at London’s The Waiting Room on 27th September, before heading out on tour with Heist or Hit label mates Her’s. See the full dates and listen to ‘Mover In The Dark’ below.
