Oh dear
Honeyblood cancel live shows in Newcastle and Sheffield
The band’s tour will resume in Leeds later this week.
Honeyblood have been forced to cancel their shows in Newcastle and Sheffield this week due to “unforeseen circumstance”. The dates, which were set to take place on Tuesday 16th September and Wednesday 17th, are only shortly into their current UK tour, which has so far called at Stirling and Glasgow.
“Gutted to say we are not able to make the Newcastle (The Cluny 2) and Sheffield (Bungalows and Bears) shows this week,” the duo have posted on Facebook. “Both dates will be rescheduled for as soon as we can. Tickets for the Newcastle show will hopefully be valid for the rescheduled show.”
Currently, the remainder of the tour will go ahead as planned, restarting in Leeds on Thursday 18th. They’ll also visit Manchester, Bristol, London, Cambridge, Leicester, Birmingham and Brighton. They’ll also play Southsea Festival this weekend (Saturday 20th), alongside headliners Pulled Apart By Horses, DZ Deathrays, Flyte, Fear of Men, Blessa, Prides and more.
The details are as follows:
September
18 Leeds, Brudenell Social Club
19 Manchester, Soup Kitchen
22 Bristol, The Louisiana
23 London, Sebright Arms
24 Cambridge, Portland Arms
25 Leicester, The Scholar Bar
26 Birmingham, Hare & Hounds
27 Brighton, The Hope
Honeyblood will also head out on tour with Superfood this November - check here for dates.
