Noodly synth duo Honne have announced details of a new album. The follow-up to 2016 debut ‘Warm On A Cold Night’ will be released on 24th August.
They’ve shared two tracks from the record, ‘Me & You ◑’, written alongside Tom Misch, who also guests on guitar, and ‘I Just Wanna Go Back◐’ - they’ll be continuing to share two tracks on the last Friday of each month pre-release. We assume they’re big fans of pay day (as are we all). Also, those strange symbols are deliberate: your browser isn’t playing games. It’s a concept.
“Those two sides have been rooted in us from the beginning, but now is the first time we’ve truly demonstrated it,” they say. “One doesn’t exist without the other, and so this time these songs have to be there together. A lot of films and TV shows either explore the good or bad, but we wanted to show a balance and the grey space.”
The band play London’s Village Underground on 8th May, and have a brief UK and Ireland tour planned in November.
