Loyle Carner and Honne are among the latest additions to this year’s Reading & Leeds line-up, playing as part of a late-night takeover by record label Transgressive.
The label will host after-hours music on the Alternative Stage, coming to Reading on Friday night, and Leeds on both Saturday and Sunday. Metronomy will also play a ‘Summer ‘08’ DJ set as part of the takeover, along with a live appearance from Fat White Family. There’ll also be DJ sets from Hinds, Huw Stephens, Peace, and…. wait for it, Peep Show’s Super Hans!
“God only knows what Super-Hans has in store for us,” commented Transgressive’s Toby L in a press release. “His first ever Glastonbury appearance this summer is already the stuff of legend.”
Reading and Leeds Festival takes place from 26th to 28th August, at Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park respectively. Biffy Clyro, Fall Out Boy, Foals, Disclosure, Chvrches, The 1975, Rat Boy and Hinds are among the many, many acts confirmed to play.
