Hookworms announce new album, ‘The Hum’, share ‘The Impasse’

The follow-up to ‘Pearl Mystic’ will be out this November.

Hookworms have announced details of their new album.

Titled ‘The Hum’, the follow-up to the Leeds-based band’s previous effort, 2013’s ‘Pearl Mystic’ will be released via their new home of Domino offshoot Weird World on 10th November.

To coincide with the announcement - made live during a session on Marc Riley’s BBC Radio 6 Music show this evening on which they also performed two songs from the record - track ‘The Impasse’ has been shared.

In addition, a pre-order is up now to purchase, featuring a limited edition die-cut sleeve, 180g heavyweight transparent vinyl pressing, and bonus 7”.

Hookworms have also announced a UK tour - they play End of the Road this weekend, before the following dates:
