Hookworms share ‘Static Resistance’

It’s the second track taken from ‘Microshift’, out next month.

Hookworms are releasing their new album ‘Microshift’ via Domino next month, and have shared a second preview of the record.

‘Static Resistance’ follows the huge ‘Negative Space’ in leading up to the band’s third album, and is another brighter, breezier take on the band’s intense kraut.

Talking of the track, the band say: “Static Resistance is the oldest track on the album, we wrote and recorded the first version of it early 2015, not very long after The Hum had been released.

“It’s one of only two pre-flood songs on the record. It’s a song about the wax and wane of depression and an eternal want to escape the life you’ve built.”

The band are set to play a whole bunch of UK shows following the release of the album.
