Hot Chip’s Joe Goddard will convert you in new ‘Lose Your Love’ video

It’s been over a year and a half since Hot Chip released their last album ‘Why Make Sense?’ but the band’s Joe Goddard is back in solo mode with new single ‘Lose Your Love.’

Kicking off as a disco floorfiller with euphoric horn blasts and soulful vocals, ‘Love Your Love’ gradually morphs into a glitchy house banger. That transformation is reflected in the Fred Rowson-directed clip.

Everything seems fairly innocent at first, as a guy who admittedly seems a little bit intense leads a class that’s a cross between tai chi and yoga. But surprise surprise, things get just a little bit sinister. It turns out that he’s trying to convert everyone to the cult ‘Colour Spectrum’ and everyone ends up losing their minds. Don’t think that’s supposed to happen with yoga.
