Howling Bells Announce New Album ‘Heartstrings’
Listen to the immediate lead track ‘Slowburn’ on DIY.

Aussie woozy rock’n’rollers Howling Bells have announced their return with ‘Heartstrings’. It’s their fourth album - the first since 2011’s ‘The Loudest Engine’ - and it’s released on 2nd June. It’s also the first record Jaunita Stern and co have recorded in London, taking to the Assault and Battery Studios with producers Catherine J Marks and Alan Moulder.
Lead track ‘Slowburn’ defies its title by hitting hard from the get-go. Not that the previous two records were missteps by any stretch of the imagination, but this song does offer up a certain bite, a renewed sense of confidence.
