Howling Bells New Album To Be Released In September

Howling Bells have announced details of a new album; they’ll release ‘The Loudest Engine’ on 12th September.

The LP - which follows on from 2009’s ‘Radio Wars’ - was recorded in Las Vegas with The Killers’ Mark Stoermer producing.

Founding member Joel Stein says of the release: ‘The album shows that we’re we’re 21st century kids making a modern psychedelic record. [It] is our grown up record. The first was about that great initial leap, the second was us exploring different waters. This one is us, all having met at one place, at one time. I think this record will change people’s perspectives of the band.’

The London-via-Australia band will take their new material on the road at around the same time as the release, including a London date at the Electric Ballroom.

Here are the details:

SEPTEMBER
14 PORTSMOUTH, WEDGEWOOD ROOMS
15 LONDON, ELECTRIC BALLROOM
16 SHEFFIELD, PLUG
18 LEEDS, COCKPIT
19 GLASGOW, ORAN MOR
20 MANCHESTER, ACADEMY 3

Tickets are on sale now.
