Scottish producer Hudson Mohawke has confirmed that he’s currently in the studio with two very different names: Antony Hegarty (from Antony and the Johnsons) and Foals’ Yannis Philippakis.

Speaking to NME as part of Warp’s 25th birthday celebrations, the regular Kanye collaborator specified that he’s helping out on new material for both artists.

On Antony Hegarty, he said: “The album I’m producing for Anthony is really cool as fuck. It’s really political, very angry, taking on the NSA.”

As for the Foals frontman, Ross Birchard didn’t specify whether this was for the band itself, or Yannis’ own material. He said the collaboration was “coming along. I think it’ll be pretty special.”

Hudson Mohawke’s own next release is ‘Chimes’, which comes out 29th September on Warp.
