Hundred Waters have shared new track ‘Wave To Anchor’
Their new album ‘Communicating’ is out next week.
Earlier in the year, Hundred Waters surprised everyone by dropping an EP, ‘Currency’, pretty much completely out of the blue.
It turned out that the ‘Currency’ EP was only an appetiser for what was to come from the band this year, as they’re also set to release a new full-length album, ‘Communicating’, on 14th September via !K7. At the time, Nicole Miglis said of the album: “From a broad lens, the album is a breakup. It starts with a need for independence and it ends with an ‘all better,’ like ‘we did it’: we learned, we loved, we separated, and now it’s time for the next chapter”.
With the release of ‘Communicating’ less than a week away, the band have now shared a new track, ‘Wave To Anchor’. Driven by propulsive piano melodies, it’s a track that sometimes leaves its deep pop sensibilities behind for waves of ambient atmosphere and emotion.
