IDLES share video for ‘Mercedes Marxist’ and new song ‘I Dream Guillotine’
The Hyundai Mercury Prize shortlisted band are spoiling us today.
Thank God it’s Friday and thank God for IDLES! Following the news last week that their sophomore album ‘Joy As An Act of Resistance’ had been shortlisted for the 2019 Hyundai Mercury Prize, our faves are spoiling us today with the release of a new song and a new video! Thanks, lads.
Sharing the video for ‘Mercedes Marxist’ which features Kris Hitchen who you might recognise from Ken Loach’s critically acclaimed Sorry We Missed You, they’re also dropping brand new banger ‘I Dream Guillotine’ which features as the B-Side to the ‘Mercedes Marxist’ 7” that’s released today!
Check them both out below!
