Framed by an ornate, almost regal ebb-and-flow of dual synth and guitar-work, it’s an all-or-nothing type of courting; an all-encompassing, dizzying dedication to love. “My college work can wait,” he schmoozes, “I want to dedicate all my time to her.” Blimey, mate. Bit smitten, are we?

The first hint at J Churcher’s incoming debut album, ‘Borderland State’, when tied to the early promise of tracks like ‘Yesterday’, ‘Riding On Your Love’ proves itself the perfect introduction to a timeless bard.
