Jacco Gardner shares new single ‘Find Yourself’

Dutch artist Jacco Gardner has shared a new single titled ‘Find Yourself’, the first preview from his newly-announced second album.

‘Hypnophobia’ is set for release on Polyvinyl in the US and Full Time Hobby, in the rest of the world, on 5th May; it’s the follow-up to his debut album ‘Cabinet of Curiosities’ from 2013.

On ‘Find Yourself’, Gardner lays down a bright, melodious guitar riff to a meditative groove. Rumbling bass, snare-heavy drums and spectral echoes tone the verses, with Gardner playing a shaman extolling the sanctity he finds in the clouds. Whimsical and mind-expanding, Gardner’s brand of psych-pop has stepped out of the cabinet and into the light.

He will also play a show in April at The 100 Club in London.
