Jack White covers The Stooges, Beck during Dublin gig

He’s also joined on stage by Dead Weather bandmate, Alison Mosshart.

Set to play tomorrow night at Glastonbury ahead of headliners Metallica on the Pyramid Stage (weather depending and all that), Jack White was in Dublin last night performing at the city’s Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

And, thanks to fan-filmed footage as pointed out by CoS, he was joined on stage by Dead Weather bandmate Alison Mosshart - whose band The Kills played in support of White - covered The Stooges’ and a tiny snippet of Beck - plus had the plug pulled on the PA during encore closer, his take on American folk standard ‘Goodnight, Irene’.

As the shaky images below depict, White and Mosshart’s ‘Love Interruption’ is particularly intense, while his ‘I Wanna Be Your Dog’ is as raucous as anyone would expect from the fellow Michigan, before segueing in and out of Beck’s ‘Where It’s At’ during a re-worked ‘Fell In Love With A Girl’.

See below.

Jack White plays at 7.30pm on the Pyramid Stage tomorrow, and at the Eventim Apollo in London on 3rd July, before returning in November for a trio of arena dates.
