James Acaster’s Temps share new single ‘ificouldjust’
It is the latest advance taste of the album ‘PARTY GATOR PURGATORY’
Temps, the 40-person music collective led and curated by the comedian James Acaster, have shared their latest single, ‘ificouldjust’.
The single features contributions from Yoni Wolf, Quelle Chris, Shamir, Montaigne and Ami Dang. It follows on from the previous singles ‘no,no’, ‘bleedthemtoxins’ and ‘partygatorresurrection’.
Speaking about the new track, Acaster has said, “Like all of us, the party gator often wishes they possessed a little more self-motivation but instead they find themselves repeating the same behaviour for what feels like the rest of time. Also, I once again cannot believe we got all these people on the same track.”
Acaster set up the Temps project during lockdown, following on from his 2019 book ‘Perfect Sound Whatever’, in which he documented his extensive collection of 2016 albums and established connections with many of the artists that now form part of Temps.
