James Blake and Hudson Mohawke are having a tiff

Don’t you just hate it when dad and dad fight? James Blake’s hit back at Hudson Mohawke’s comments that the pair had been working together, and it’s all getting a bit catty.

Let’s play catch up. After the initial ‘reveal’, James took umbrage to HudMo’s claims that they’d been working together.

As talented as I think he is, I've never worked with Hudson Mohawke and don't know what he's talking about. I'm respectfully baffled.

So far, so confusing. HudMo then took to Twitter to clear a few things up. All he really did was muddy the waters more, mind.

Then, in a last ditch attempt to prove he ain’t a big fat fibber, he posted the following email from Jimmy B about the beats he’d sent over.

“Ah for goodness sake,” began James’ response. Polite young lad til the end, that one. Still, he’s gone in for the kill here - ““Yes, I listened to them and politely declined. Two years later, you’re alluding to the idea we’ve collaborated to the point where you have something you can leak…? Leak what you have—you’d just be leaking one of your own beats with no vocals or input from me. Thank god we’ve never worked together because I wouldn’t be able to trust you with my music.”
