James Blake unveils yearning slow jam ‘Are You Even Real?’
The track follows ‘You’re Too Precious’ as his first post-‘Assume Form’ offerings.
James Blake has unveiled his second new track of the year, ‘Are You Even Real?’ - written alongside Starrah and Ali Tamposi.
A yearning ballad, it finds JB intoning “All I can do is trust in her/ Late nights I can see the lust in her” as some classy orchestral flourishes chime in to up the ante.
The release follows April’s ‘You’re Too Precious’, which marked the first new material from the singer since Grammy-nominated 2019 LP ‘Assume Form’.
