Japandroids are streaming new album ‘Near To The Wild Heart Of Life’
The LP is officially out next Friday on ANTI-.

Over a week in advance of its official release, Japandroids are streaming new album ‘Near To The Wild Heart Of Life’.
Out officially on 27th January via ANTI- Records, the LP is a lean eight tracks long (just like predecessors ‘Celebration Rock’ and ‘Post-Nothing’) and is split into two sides both following their own loose narrative. Together, they form an even looser narrative, with the final track acting as a kind of “epilogue”.
But regardless of whether you pick up on that, it’s still clear that Brian King and David Prowse are in a bit more of a reflective mood here. Their raw sound sometimes giving way to more thoughtful passages, and tracks like the recently-revealed ‘No Known Drink Or Drug’offering up powerful meditations on the trials and tribulations of life.
