Thunderbirds are go!
Jarvis Cocker to perform at ‘Thunderbirds’ tribute show
Members of Portishead and Goldfrapp are also getting involved.
Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker is amongst the acts taking part in orchestral performances at Bristol’s Colston Hall on 1st December. The night is in honour of ‘Thunderbirds’ producer Gerry Anderson, with the beloved show celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2015.
Cocker will be taking part in an “All Star Collective”, put together by conductor Charles Hazlewood. He’ll be joined by Portishead’s Adrian Utlcey and Will Gregory of Goldfrapp.
Together, they’ll be taking on the ‘Thunderbirds’ theme, plus various other Anderson compositions, from ‘Stingray’ to ‘Captain Scarlet’.
