Jay James Picton Premieres First Of Three-Part Film Series

Jay James Picton has unveiled the first film in his three-part series, as means of introducing his musical talents to the world.

After recently signing to Decca/ Universal Records, the singer songwriter has produced a three-part musical film series to introduce both himself and some of his songs. Here at DIY, we’re showcasing the first instalment entitled ‘Jay James Picton – Heads vs. Hearts (Part 1: Battle Call)’, with the following two appearing over the next two weeks.

Filming the piece in LA, Jay is also using the films to showcase some of his tracks, including a more stripped back yet soulful effort ‘Long May They Roll’, as well as his collaboration with Grammy Award winner Booker T. Jones, titled ‘Heads Vs Hearts’.
