Funk-minded newcomer Jodie Abacus has shared a new track, ‘She’s In Love With the Weekend’.

Strutting and grooving like Hall & Oates on a psychedelic trip through a wah-wah pedal shop, it’s all strawberry lips and instantly infectious melodies. “Go home, you’re always out of zone, if you never see the party end,” concludes Jodie Abacus. Even weekends can’t last forever. Very responsible stuff, tbh.

The South London talent is all set to play DIY’s stage at The Great Escape, where we’re taking over the pier’s musical palace, Horatios. As well as Jodie Abacus, the likes of Eagulls, Black Honey, Milk Teeth and Partybaby.
