Johnny Marr streams ‘Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want (Live)’
Edit of the Smiths track is taken from a Record Store Day release.
For this year’s Record Store Day (18th April), Johnny Marr is putting out two unique cuts - a new version of Depeche Mode’s ‘I Feel You’ and a live edit of The Smiths’ ‘Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want’.
The latter is streaming below, with the recording capturing one of the closing shows of Marr’s December 2014 North American tour.
Marr’s RSD release follows on from last year’s solo album ‘Playland’. As previously reported, he’s also working on an autobiography.
This summer, Johnny Marr is a guest for The Who’s British Summer Time show at London Hyde Park, 26th June.
