Jon Hopkins reveals video for Yeasayer cover, ‘I Remember’

Jon Hopkins has unveiled a video for his cover of Yeasayer track ‘I Remember’.

The version appears on Hopkins’ latest release, a new edition of the long-running Late Night Tales series of curated compilations.

The barren, piano-led version of the 2010 track has been given an immersive, floaty video which complements the dream-like nature of the cover.

Speaking about the compilation, Hopkins explained that he “chose tracks not just because they have been important to me but because of how they sit together, putting as much thought into the transitions and overall narrative as I did into the track choices.

The track is joined on the compilation by tracks from the likes of Four Tet and Nils Frahm, and also features and a Gold Panda remix of HEALTH track ‘Before Tigers’.

Hopkins is set to headline the Bloc weekender at Butlins Minehead later this month, and will play the final full live show of his touring run for 2013’s ‘Immunity’ album at London’s Brixton Academy on 24th April, with support coming from East India Youth.
