Jon Hopkins has shared the video for his track ‘Feel First Life’.
A slower cut than some of the other album tracks, the song is taken from the musician’s latest album ‘Singularity’ and features a contemplative piano ballad that morphs into a 15-strong choir. The video was directed Jon’s longtime collaborator Elliot Dear.
Last time we heard from Jon, he released the epic video for album opener ‘Singularity’. The new album ‘Singularity’ follows 2013’s ‘Immunity’, and, as we wrote in our review upon release, “is varied and consistently compelling”.
Jon is currently on tour in Europe in support of the album after being joined on the road in the US by Daniel Avery, who recently remixed ‘Singularity’ track ‘C O S M’. Jon then returned the favour, offering a rework of Daniel Avery track ‘Glitter’.
