Jonathan Boulet starts a bike gang in ‘Hold It Down’ video

The cut from his new album ‘Gubba’ soundtracks a rather unlikely bunch of bikers.

Ever wonder what it’d be like if a handful of your mates bought motorbikes, and decided to form a gang that ruled the countryside? Well, it seems that’s exactly what Jonathan Boulet decided to discover in his new video for ‘Hold It Down’, as premiered on DIY.

Donning an AC/DC-emblazoned helmet and plenty of leather, the group’s leader is a little less like a character from Sons of Anarchy than we imagined he hoped, but nonetheless, he leads his gang in causing havoc around the greenery, provoking chaos (and building bonfires) as they go. Sort of… They do manage to make some tasty-looking sausages though.

The clip accompanies the brand new track from Boulet, as taken from his forthcoming album ‘Gubba’. An pummelling mix of bassy grunginess, it’s that little bit reminiscent of older era Queens of the Stone Age, with vocals shrouded in static-y fuzz.

Check out the video below.

‘Gubba’ is set for release on 25th August through Popfrenzy / Caroline.
