Julian Casablancas + The Voidz reveal 13-minute long ‘Human Sadness’ video

The indie world’s ‘Bad Blood’ (with twenty fewer celebrity cameos and 50% more oddities) has landed.

Julian Casablancas + The Voidz have been teasing their ‘Human Sadness’ video for the past couple of weeks, premiering the clip at one-off screenings and making a big song and dance out of the epic Warren Fu and Nicholaus Goosen clip.

Streaming below, it’s easy to see why Casablancas is so nuts for it. The clip brings together archive footage of bomb strikes with ‘80s-nodding imagery and shots of America in its grubbiest, seediest state. Yeah, it goes on a bit, but it’s essentially a nice-to-look-at movie compressed into something much shorter.
