Just Jam reschedules event at London Barbican
Omar Souleyman and JME are on the bill for the event, initially cancelled last February.
Back in February and under controversial circumstances, London Barbican was forced to pull a Just Jam event set to take place in the capital due to instructions from city police. Within just a few days that event was later compressed into a tiny South London space - with performances from Omar Souleyman and Sophie aired online - but the full thing has been rescheduled for December 2014.
Just Jam takes place at The Barbican Hall on Saturday 13th December. Many artists previously confirmed are set to play - Omar Souleyman, JME, Big Narstie and Preditah.
Tickets go on sale Friday 5th September.
Previously, Just Jam was cancelled due to “concerns based on a number of factors that could compromise the safety of people who planned to attend” and that “alcohol would be on sale at an event which would be allowing entry to anyone aged 16 or over,” issues that weren’t unique to the event itself.
