Just Mustard make confident return with widescreen single ‘POLLYANNA’
The track is the Dundalk band’s first new music in three years.

Back with their first release since the arrival of 2022 album ‘Heart Under’, Just Mustard have today offered up new track ‘POLLYANNA’ - a cinematic, shoegazey cut that combines pummelling instrumental breakdowns with ethereal, almost haunting vocals.
Taking inspiration from the titular fictional character (who was famously relentlessly positive) to explore the notion of “toxic happiness”, the single has arrived accompanied by a CCTV-style video directed by frontwoman Katie Ball. Speaking about the visualiser, she has commented: “We shot the video using different CCTV and VHS cameras around our hometown Dundalk trying to have as much fun as possible, the kind of fun that makes you feel sick almost instantly, which suits the themes of the song”.
What’s more, Just Mustard have also announced a handful of intimate underplay shows - in New York, Berlin, Paris, and London - for later this year. Find out where they’ll be playing and check out ‘POLLYANNA’ for yourself below.
