Kaiser Chiefs to play ‘secret’ set at Glastonbury
They’ll be on the Other Stage at 11am tomorrow.
Glastonbury is well known for its secret performances and guest spots, and this year is set to be no different - there are a couple of deliberately blank spaces on the stage-by-stage breakdown, after all.
However, one of those isn’t secret any longer - Kaiser Chiefs have confirmed they’ll be opening the Other Stage at 11am tomorrow.
Posting on Twitter, frontman Ricky Wilson said “If you have pals down @GlastoFest text them that Kaiser Chiefs will also be opening the Other Stage at 11am.”
The band, who topped the UK album chart with latest album, ‘Education, Education, Education & War’, were already confirmed to headline the John Peel Stage tomorrow evening, following sets from Wild Beasts, CHVRCHES and Lykke Li.
Headlining tomorrow on the Pyramid Stage are Arcade Fire, plus Skrillex tops the bill on the Other Stage, and Metronomy on the Park Stage. Among the many other artists playing are Haim, Parquet Courts, Tune-Yards and Courtney Barnett.
