Kaiser Chiefs extend ‘Employment’ 20th anniversary celebrations with 2026 UK tour dates
Having had a stacked summer of festivals and headline shows, the band are continuing their celebratory lap of honour.

Following a storming summer that’s seen them play the likes of Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage, Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival, and Leeds’ Temple Newsam Park, indie stalwarts Kaiser Chiefs have now announced a new run of 2026 headline shows.
Kicking off on 13th February in Bradford, next year’s UK tour will see the band make stops in Manchester, Glasgow, London, Swansea and more, before concluding in Wolverhampton on 28th February. Where Kaiser Chiefs’ recent performances have been in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their beloved debut album ‘Employment’ - which, can you believe it, came out in 2005 - their 2026 dates are apparently set to mark ‘the year it really took off’.
In the words of frontman Ricky Wilson: “This summer, we played a load of shows to mark the release of our debut album ‘Employment’. It went well. Probably better than our first summer 20 years ago. It was the year after that first year that things really took off…
“So we hope you will join us in February to help celebrate with us ‘the year it really took off’. If you were with us the first time, or unfortunately missed out due to other commitments, we hope you will join us for a joyous lap of honour. (Plus, I spent quite a bit on a new blazer and want to get my money’s worth)”.
Tickets for the ‘More Employment’ tour will go on general sale at 9am on Friday 22nd August; check out full scheduling details below.
