Kanye West, The Maccabees and Courtney Barnett to play Glastonbury day two
DIY is at Worthy Farm, bringing you all the action from the second day.
There’s only one name that everyone’s talking about on day two at Glastonbury. Kanye West. Petitions can’t stop him now. Expect one of the most unforgettable sets in Glasto’s history, ‘SWISH’ galore.
With Yeezy closing out the second day on Worthy Farm, other highlights arrive from Courtney Barnett and George Ezra, who both make their Pyramid Stage debuts. We can practically feel the nerves from here.
Over on the Other Stage, standout sets arrive from The Maccabees (showcasing new album ‘Marks to Prove It)’, “future headliners” Young Fathers and Swim Deep’s stupidly early opening set.
Across on the John Peel Stage, it plays host to Sleaford Mods, Death From Above 1979, La Roux and chart-toppers Years & Years.
The bill over on the Park Stage also looks tempting, with Mercury Prize nominee Kate Tempest and verified honeybear Father John Misty making an appearance.
So we say it’s all about Kanye, but here’s everything to look forward to on day two:
