Kelela shares new track ‘Blue Light’
Her debut album ‘Take Me Apart’ is out tomorrow!

R&B singer Kelela is releasing her debut album ‘Take Me Apart’ very soon. How soon? Well, it’s out tomorrow (6th October)!
There’s still a little bit of time time for her to squeeze in a last-minute taste of what to expect from the record though. So far we’ve already heard a couple of tracks from the collection, ‘LMK’ and ‘Frontline’, and now she’s shared another new one, ‘Blue Light’. While it kicks off with glacial, ethereal synths and Kelela’s own delicate vocals, it soon transforms itself into a warped, elastic number that leads into a hypnotic climax.
Kelela announced is heading out on a big old world tour in support of ‘Take Me Apart’, and as part of the tour, she’s playing a couple of dates in the UK. She’s got a show in Manchester and two in London. Tickets are on sale now.
Listen to ‘Blue Light’ below.
