Kid Wave air video for new ‘Gloom’ single
Hair-swinging dream poppers follow a mysterious glass jar in their new video.
London four-piece Kid Wave have unveiled the video for ‘Gloom’, their Rory Attwell-produced new single that premiered on DIY last month.
In this clip, vocalist / guitarist Lea Emmery has a routine journey on the tube halted when she’s prompted with a mysterious glass jar containing a tiny chunk of cloud.
She takes the thing home, leaves her routine life to perform ‘Gloom’ with the band (complete with customary hair-swinging), and together they agree to take the magic glass jar to the open air.
‘Gloom’ is out 24th November, arriving after the band’s run on the road with Childhood.
Kid Wave support TOY at London’s The Garage on 30th October.
