Kid Wave share new single, ‘Best Friend’

Kid Wave have shared a new single, titled ‘Best Friend’.

The new track features on the London-based quartet’s debut album, ‘Wonderlust’, due via Heavenly Recordings on 1st June. ‘Best Friend’ follows Lea Emmery and co’s recent single, ‘Honey’ with both tracks featured alongside the previously shared ‘Gloom’, the title-track and ‘All I Want’ on the long-player.

On ‘Best Friend’, Lea Emmery reminds a former buddy about their shared memories in a final bid to retain their friendship. Languid rhythms mix with powerful riffs, while Emmery’s drawled vocals, along with tight-knit drumming, highlight each facet of the group’s heady and hazy sound.

Kid Wave recently embarked on a UK tour alongside fellow newcomers Bully and Fraser A. Gorman. Catch them on the following remaining tour dates:
