Kindness’ Adam Bainbridge is working with The Red Cross to tell the stories of refugees

Bainbridge partners with other artists to create the concept album ‘The Long Road’.

Kindness’ Adam Bainbridge is one of a group of artists who are partnering with the Red Cross to create a concept album about real-life refugee stories.

Kindness, the Sierra Leone Refugee All Stars and Scroobius Pip have been each working with a refuge individually, which they will present as a song on an album titled ‘The Long Road’. According to The FADER, Adam Bainbridge personally requested to join the Red Cross’ project, saying

“I’ve seen with my own eyes that anyone’s life can be turned upside down overnight; that expressing an opinion can be enough to make life unliveable in the place you call home, and eventually force you to leave it. So when I was told about the project, I had to be involved.” Bainbridge will work with Ayman Hirh, a Syrian refugee. “Getting to know Ayman has been fantastic,” he said. “I’m looking forward to telling his story in the studio.”
