Klaxons claim Autumn 2014 headline tour will be their last
Band are yet to release a statement regarding future live plans.
Ahead of their forthcoming Autumn 2014 UK tour, Klaxons have stated that this will be their last live run as headliners.
Tweeting to fans earlier this afternoon (24th October), they said: “After what’s been nearly 9 bananas years we’d like to let you know that we’ve decided the upcoming dates will be our last headline tour.”
The band have yet to issue a full clarification and statement regarding whether these will be their last live shows altogether as a band. A publicist told DIY that there was no further statement at this time.
Klaxons’ latest album, ‘Love Frequency’, came out earlier this year.
Their forthcoming tour is set to feature the novelty of 3D-printed instruments. After initially releasing a ‘joke’ video claiming the invention of 3D guitars, they’ve since made plans with the help of Sheffield University to bring futuristic gear with them on tour.
Klaxons play the following, final headline shows:

26 Leeds, Cockpit
27 Glasgow, O2 ABC
28 Manchester, Academy 3
30 Brighton, Concorde 2
31 Bristol, Thekla
