Kotki Dwa To Team Up With National Trust For New Album
‘Staycations’ is expected to be released this June.

Kotki Dwa have announced that they will be receiving support from the National Trust to produce their new album ‘Staycations’.
The band have called upon help from the Trust, and thanks to the partnership, will be recording parts of their new record in a variety of National Trust places, renowned for their aged acoustics.
The project also sees Kotki Dwa being able to use some of The Trust’s outdoor spaces to inform the album’s artwork and music videos, as the band have the opportunity to visit the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, London, Wales and beyond.
Of the project, Kotki Dwa lead singer Alex Ostrowski said: “We thought of approaching the National Trust after deciding on the album’s title ‘Staycations’. Their places attracted us as a way to add atmosphere to the album and build on some of the idealistic imagery in our music, as well as some of the darker dramatic themes.”
Tony Berry, Visitor Experience Director for The National Trust added: “Kotki Dwa approached us last year with impressive proposals to use National Trust properties in a new and creative way, taking their album title as the starting point. ‘Staycations’ happens to be a term the National Trust uses a lot to inspire the public about the amazing places we look after, so the partnership was a perfect fit. The band’s ambition is really refreshing.”
