Kurt Vile announces 10th anniversary re-issue of ‘Waking on a Pretty Daze’
He will also be playing a string of UK dates this summer.
Kurt Vile has announced details of a tenth anniversary re-release of his album ‘Wakin on a Pretty Daze’.
The Philadelphia musician will be issuing the 2013 double album as a blue and yellow vinyl split, released on 25th August and available for pre-order now via Matador Records.
The album was Vile’s fifth studio album and first that did not feature contributions from long-time collaborator Adam Granduciel.
The re-release is the latest in Matador’s Revisionist History series, a string of re-issues from their back catalogue to mark anniversaries. Previous examples have included Pavement’s ‘Slanted and Enchanted’ and Yo La Tengo’s ‘I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One’.
