Lady Gaga debuts video for club-ready banger ‘Abracadabra’
The new track - and its accompanying visualiser - were first aired during a commercial break at last night’s GRAMMYs.

Make no mistake - Lady Gaga is well and truly back. The pop superstar unveiled her latest single ‘Abracadabra’ - lifted from upcoming seventh album ‘MAYHEM’ - during last night’s GRAMMY Award ceremony, and it’s a no-holds-barred, floor-filling anthem that harks back to her ‘Fame Monster’ days of the late ’00s.
“The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved,” Gaga has shared, describing the writing process for LG7 as “reassembling a shattered mirror: even if you can’t put the pieces back together perfectly, you can create something beautiful and whole in its own new way.”
A high-octane dance number centred around a brilliantly nonsense (yet insanely catchy) chorus, ‘Abracadabra’ follows recent cuts ‘Disease’ and the GRAMMY-winning Bruno Mars collab ‘Die With A Smile’ to be the third song shared from ‘MAYHEM’.
What’s more, it’s also arrived accompanied by a striking video full of Gothic drama and impeccable choreo. Intended to represent the opposing light and dark sides of Gaga, the visualiser - directed by Parris Goebel, Bethany Vargas, and Gaga herself - sees no less than 40 dancers unite in equal parts ecstasy and chaos.
