Laura Marling to headline Mouth Of The Tyne Festival 2017
Elbow and, er, Tom Odell are also top of the bill for the Tynemouth-based festival.
Laura Marling is set to headline Friday night at this year’s Mouth Of The Tyne Festival in Tynemouth this July.
The four-day event will also see Elbow headlining on Thursday and Tom Odell topping the bill on Saturday (yep, you read that right).
Festival director Steve Bishop said: “We’re thrilled to welcome some of the biggest names in British music to the festival this year. The event has special acts in an amazing setting and, as we’re just 8 miles east of Newcastle upon Tyne with award-winning beaches, the festival makes a great weekend visit.”
Further acts performing on Sunday, as well as the programme for the nearby Tynemouth Surf Café and Playhouse Whitley Bay, are yet to be announced.
Mouth Of The Tyne Festival takes place at Tynemouth Priory between 6th-9th July 2017. Tickets go on sale from Friday 27th January.
