Marling Goes Electric
Laura Marling performs ‘I Feel Your Love’ in new ‘Short Movie’ session
Second session performance previews Marling’s fifth LP.
Laura Marling has posted the second of her ‘Short Movie’ session performances in the form of ‘I Feel Your Love’.
Last week the track became the third to be unveiled from the new album, out 23rd March.
The two session performances posted so far - the other being ‘False Hope’ - have seen Marling ditch the acoustic guitar in favour of an electric sound and a full band.
Marling is set for a busy 2015, with a full UK and European tour set for April and May, following ‘Short Movie”s release.
Talking about the album and her time off in her recent DIY cover feature, Marling said: “I think my reality bounds got taken down to an extent where I felt like I wasn’t constricted to anything,” she adds. “I don’t think I took a particularly wide step out of what I was doing before, but I made the beginnings of a step. I hope to expand on that.”
