Le Bataclan reopened this weekend
One year on from the devastating terror attacks on the Paris venue, Sting took to the stage to celebrate its return.

This weekend saw the reopening of Paris venue Le Bataclan, one year on from the devastating terror attacks upon the French capital.
Sting opened the first night back this Saturday (12th November).
”We’ve got two important things to do tonight,” he announced on-stage, in French. “First, to remember and honour those who lost their lives in the attacks a year ago, and to celebrate the life and the music of this historic venue.” He performed both solo songs and those of The Police, while also holding a moment of silence in memory of the victims of the attacks.
Friday 13th November 2015 saw the city struck by multiple terrorist attacks, with one such target being Le Bataclan, which was hosting an Eagles Of Death Metal show that evening. Eighty-nine people tragically lost their lives at the venue.
Featuring Yard Act, Death Cab For Cutie, Graham Coxon, Maisie Peters and more.
