Lianne La Havas returns with intimate new single ‘Disarray’
“It’s about vulnerability, honesty, and giving listeners a window into a moment of my life.”

Jazz-soul luminary Lianne La Havas is back with ‘Disarray’, an expansive yet emotionally rich new track that spotlights finger-plucked electric guitar and her hallmark gorgeous vocals - both of which were recorded live.
Written by the multiple award winner and produced by her frequent collaborator Matt Hales, the single is Lianne’s first solo release in some time; her last, self-titled album came out back in 2020. “The song felt very intimate, almost like a secret just for me,” she has said, reflecting on the period of uncertainty that birthed ‘Disarray’. “It’s about vulnerability, honesty, and giving listeners a window into a moment of my life.”
According to press materials, this is also the start of a new chapter for Lianne, so watch this space… in the meantime though, you can check out the official lyric video for ‘Disarray’ below. li
