Liars create the perfect freakout rave with ‘I’m No Gold’ video

Liars’ ‘Mess’ album is actually the complete opposite; a pained, calculated, structured attempt at expressing madness in the form of head-gnawing industrial rock. Rave and icy electronica battle it out, with effect-free vocals overseeing chaos in an expression that’s nothing short of gleeful.

The increasingly tangled and ever-inventive outfit capture the strange beauty of their record in this new video for ‘I’m No Gold’. Containing slow motion head banging and plenty of pantomime turning, it’s like reaching into the dead-end brain of a lunatic, scattered in multicolour.
