Lil Silva airs video for new ‘Mabel’ single

Up to now, Lil Silva was known primarily as a fast-rising producer, responsible for contributing gloomy backdrops to BANKS tracks (he’s scheduled to apply his charms to her forthcoming LP ‘Goddess’, too). Now he’s launched himself from behind the desk and right square centre stage, applying vocals to the stirring new single ‘Mabel’.

The track’s taken from a new EP (also titled ‘Mabel’), out 4th August on Good Years. BANKS features on two tracks - the rest showcase Lil Silva’s newly enhanced ability to make himself the focus of everything he’s putting his name to.

A new video for ‘Mabel’ arrives directed by Laura Coulson, and it gives an abstract yet brilliant insight into life growing up on the outskirts of London. Watch below.
