'Everything Now', now
Listen to Arcade Fire’s new album ‘Everything Now’
The Canadians’ fifth album sees them producing some of their most soaring moments to date.
Well, after months of teasing, “infinite content” and adverts for Ritalin-based cereals, Arcade Fire have released ‘Everything Now’ and the whole thing is streaming, well, now.
Yep, right from the reveal of the almost ABBA melodies of the title track, it was kinda obvious that ‘Everything Now’ would see the Canadian behemoths reaching out and trying something new, and with the string of tracks that followed (‘Creature Comfort’, ‘Signs of Life’ and the recent ‘Electric Blue’) that continued to be the case. But have no fear, they’re still just as rousing as ever. In our review of the album, we said that it contained some of the band’s most sky-reaching moments to date.
Arcade Fire will also be taking ‘Everything Now’ on the road in the UK and Ireland, where they’ll be headed to Dublin, Manchester, London, Birmingham and Glasgow. Tickets are on sale now.
